Who We Are

An independent firm committed to rigorous, culturally attuned expertise in African and Oceanic art

GB'S PARIS is an independent appraisal and advisory firm dedicated to the authentication and study of African and Oceanic art. We combine scholarly depth with extensive field experience to deliver expertise that goes well beyond conventional valuation.

Founded by Guillaume J.A. Bresso, the firm integrates anthropological insight, hands-on fieldwork, and scientific analysis to illuminate the deeper contexts of these works.

Guillaume J.A. Bresso

A collector and anthropologist of African and Oceanic art, Guillaume Bresso has gained intimate knowledge of Central and West African as well as Oceanic cultures through years of fieldwork and close study of living traditions.

He approaches each object not merely as a work of art, but as a carrier of social memory, ritual logic, and historical depth — a living witness shaped by complex cultural systems.
